Argyle Champagne Diamonds
More abundant than the Argyle pink & white diamonds, the Argyle champagne diamonds come in a variety of colours from light yellowish browns to rich chocolate and orange colours.
The lightest and the most intense champagne diamonds are the more highly prized. The colour of a champagne diamond is caused by a colour centre, scientifically described as an atomic level lattice defect that absorbs and reflects light similar to the pink diamonds.
Colour ranges vary greatly and Champagne diamonds are classified from the lightest C1 through to the most intense C7.
At the C7 end, these diamonds are referred to as Cognac diamonds.
Many of our Argyle champagne diamonds over 0.38ct are laser inscribed with “ARGYLE”. Knowing our chain of custody is unbroken, we can also offer a certificate of Origin confirming that your chosen champagne diamond comes from the Argyle mine.
Our collection of Champagne diamonds includes fancy shaped diamonds which are very rarely seen.
Unlike the majority of Champagne diamonds available, our round brilliant cut Champagne diamonds have been cut to excellent cut grades meaning your Champagne diamond will not only be colourful but very brilliant.
Our collection includes diamonds from 0.20ct through to 5ct fancy shaped diamonds.
As with the pink diamonds, the Argyle diamond mine produces the majority of the world’s champagne and cognac diamonds.
